What's In The Box

Verify before you start: This spindle is 27mm with a Ø7.5mm 20-tooth head, Ø23mm/Ø26mm threaded sections, and a 95mm overall length — designed specifically for Corsa-type wall-mounted flush valves. Compare these measurements to your existing spindle before fitting.

Nice work — all steps complete!

Your Corsa-type flush valve should now turn smoothly with no leaks. Keep an eye on it over the next few flushes.

Turn Off the Water Supply
~1 min
Locate the water supply line feeding your Corsa-type flush valve and shut it off completely before doing anything else.
Remove the Operating Handle / Cap Cover
~1 min
Unscrew or unclip the wall-facing handle or cap cover to expose the valve body and the spindle underneath.
Take care: Note how the cover comes off so you can refit it the same way — some covers turn a specific direction.
Unscrew the Old Spindle from the Valve Body
~2 min
Using an adjustable wrench, carefully unscrew the old, worn spindle from the flush valve body and set it aside.
Take care: Old hardware can be stiff — turn steadily rather than forcing it, to avoid damaging the valve body threads.
Insert the New JKC Corsa-Type Spindle
~1 min
Wipe the valve body threads clean, then screw the new JKC 27mm spindle into place by hand until snug.
Take care: Compare the new spindle's dimensions to your old one first — this listing's size chart shows the full measurements.
Refit the Operating Handle / Cap Cover
~1 min
Reattach the handle or cap cover you removed in Step 2, in the same orientation it came off.
Turn On the Water & Test the Full Turn
~1 min
Turn the water supply back on and operate the handle through its full 180° turn a few times, checking for smooth motion and no leaks around the valve body.
Points To Take Care Of

Do's & Don'ts

The most common fitting mistakes — and how to avoid them.

Do

  • Turn off the water supply before starting
  • Compare the new spindle's dimensions to your old one before fitting
  • Hand-tighten the spindle into the valve body
  • Test the full 180° turn before closing everything back up
  • Keep the old spindle until you've confirmed the new one fits and works
  • Wipe the threads clean of old sealant/debris before inserting the new spindle

Don't

  • Don’t Overtighten — this can damage the threads or crack fittings
  • Don’t Force the spindle if it doesn't turn smoothly — recheck alignment first
  • Don’t Skip verifying the 27mm size and thread diameters before fitting
  • Don’t Use metal tools directly on the chrome finish without a cloth wrap
  • Don’t Discard your old spindle until the new one is confirmed working
  • Don’t Leave the water supply on while working on the valve body
