Before You Start

Tools You'll Need

  • Adjustable wrench or spanner (optional, only for removing a stuck old pipe)
  • Bucket or old towel (to catch residual water)
  • Torch/flashlight (optional, for tight under-sink spaces)

What's In The Box

  • 2 x Stainless Steel Connection Pipes (36 Inch)
  • 1/2 Inch NPT Fittings, Pre-Fitted at Both Ends
Verify before you start: Your existing fitting should be a standard 1/2 inch NPT connection. This pipe is 36 inches (915mm) long with a 22mm braid diameter — measure your installation space to confirm it fits comfortably without excessive slack or tension.
Installation

Your new JKC connection pipe is fitted and tested. You're all set for reliable hot and cold water supply.

Turn Off the Water Supply

Locate the wall shut-off valve for the fixture you're working on and turn it clockwise until fully closed.
Place a Towel or Bucket Underneath
~1 min
Position a towel or small bucket beneath the connection point to catch any residual water when you disconnect the old pipe.
Remove the Old Connection Pipe

Unscrew the old pipe from the wall valve and fixture inlet by turning the nuts counter-clockwise.
Take care: Old fittings can be stiff — use a wrench gently if needed, but avoid excessive force that could damage the valve threads.
Attach the New JKC Pipe to the Wall Valve

Thread one end of the new JKC connection pipe onto the wall valve and hand-tighten until snug.
Take care: Hand-tighten only — overtightening with a wrench can damage the washer seal.
Attach the Other End to the Fixture Inlet

Thread the other end onto the fixture inlet (basin, sink, flush tank, or geyser) and hand-tighten until snug.
Turn the Water Back On & Test for Leaks

Slowly turn the water supply back on and check both connection points for drips. Wipe dry and inspect again after a few minutes.
Take care: If you notice a drip, turn off the supply and tighten the nut a little further by hand before testing again.

Do

  • Confirm your fitting is a standard 1/2 inch connection before starting
  • Hand-tighten each end firmly until snug
  • Keep the old pipe until you've confirmed the new one doesn't leak
  • Check both ends after turning the water back on
  • Wipe the connection area dry before inspecting for leaks

Don't

  • Don't overtighten with a wrench or spanner — it can damage the washer seal
  • Don't force the pipe if the threads don't align — recheck orientation
  • Don't kink or twist the braided hose sharply
  • Don't skip the leak check after installation
  • Don't discard the old pipe until the new one is confirmed working
