Verify before you start: your existing cartridge measures 35mm in diameter with an 8.5 x 8.5mm square drive head before ordering or fitting — this cartridge is designed for Chinese-style waterfall kitchen sink faucets and single lever mixer taps.
Installation

Turn the water back on and give your faucet a final check for smooth operation.

Turn Off the Water Supply

Locate the shutoff valve beneath the sink and turn it fully clockwise to stop the water flow to the faucet.
Remove the Faucet Handle

Use a flathead screwdriver or Allen key to loosen the set screw beneath or behind the handle, then lift the handle straight up and off the faucet body.
Take care: Set screws are small and easy to misplace — keep it somewhere safe.
Access and Remove the Old Cartridge

Unscrew the retaining nut around the cartridge with an adjustable wrench, then pull the old cartridge straight out of the faucet body.
Take care: If the old cartridge feels stuck, avoid forcing it — apply a penetrating spray and wait a few minutes before trying again.
Verify Fitment Before Installing

Compare your old cartridge to the new JKC cartridge — confirm the 35mm diameter, 8.5 x 8.5mm square drive head, and O-ring position all match before installing.
Take care: If anything doesn't match, don't force the install — contact support first to confirm compatibility.
Install the New JKC Cartridge

Insert the new cartridge into the faucet body, aligning the square drive head and O-ring seal exactly as the old cartridge was positioned, then hand-tighten the retaining nut.
Take care: Don't overtighten the retaining nut — snug is enough; over-tightening can crack the housing.
Reassemble the Handle & Test Waterfall Flow

Refit the handle over the square drive head, tighten the set screw, then turn the water supply back on and test for smooth operation with no leaks.
