Place a Bucket & Clear the Work Area

Place a bucket or tray beneath the existing waste pipe and clear the area under the sink so you have room to work.

Remove the Old Waste Pipe

Loosen the connector nuts on the old waste pipe by hand or with an adjustable wrench, then carefully remove it from the basin and drain outlets.

Take care: Some residual water may drip out — keep the bucket in place while you work.

Clean & Inspect the Basin/Sink Outlet

Wipe the outlet threading clean with a soft cloth and check for any leftover old washers or debris before fitting the new pipe.

Attach the Upper Connector to the Basin Outlet

Fit the upper connector of the JKC Chrome Flexible PVC Waste Pipe onto the basin or sink outlet and hand-tighten it into place.

Take care: Make sure the built-in washer stays seated correctly as you tighten — don't discard it.

Adjust the Flexible Pipe to Length

Bend, stretch or compress the flexible accordion body to reach the drain or wall outlet, keeping the bends gentle.

Take care: Avoid sharp kinks — a tight bend can slow drainage later.

Connect the Lower End to the Drain Outlet

Guide the lower end of the pipe to the drain or wall outlet and fit the connector into place.

Hand-Tighten All Connector Fittings

~1 min

Hand-tighten both connector nuts evenly until snug. This is usually enough for a secure, leak-resistant seal.

Take care: Don't over-tighten with a wrench — this can damage the washer and cause a leak instead of preventing one.

Test for Leaks

Run water through the basin or sink and check every connection point for drips. Recheck and gently re-tighten any joint that isn't fully sealed.
